Danish sensation Trentemøller is currently working on a new remix album that will feature reworked versions of tracks taken from his critically acclaimed 2010 album, ‘Into The Great Wide Yonder’. Trentemoller has invited a host of local and international names to submit their versions of his work alongside remixes that he has done for a variety of artists and bands over the past couple of years. Entitled ’Remixed/Reworked’, it will feature songs and mixes from UNKLE, Modeselektor, Depeche Mode, Marie Fisker, Franz Ferdi-nand, Chimes and Bells, Kink, Efterklang, The Dø and many more……..
Also, if you’re a budding graphics artist check out the following competition that’s just been announced. Fellow Danish artists Efterklang have joined forces with Trentemøller and they are asking creative souls across the globe to create the artwork for their recently finished remix project. The new remixes (Efterklang‘s ‘Raincoats’ remixed by Trentemøller and Trentemøller‘s ‘Tide’ remixed by Efterklang) are now available at Filter Magazine and Trentemøller‘s and Efterklang‘s website alongside the submission guidelines. So grab your pens and brushes, scissors and glue, oil and canvass and get involved!
